      夏伯嘉,香港人。美國賓夕法尼亞州立大學歷史系講座教授、台灣中央研究院院士、香港大學為堅傑出客座教授(人文學科)、香港大學香港人文社會研究所名譽教授。近著有︰《在紫禁城中的耶穌會士︰利瑪竇傳》(上海古籍出版社,2010年)。在歐洲近早期史,明清中西交流史的領域,出版了十餘本專著與百篇論文。
